Privacy Policy
Respo Haagised AS has undertaken the obligation to protect the privacy of our customers and users. Thus, we have drawn up these privacy policy principles which cover collection, use, disclosure, transfer, and retention of the customer’s data. Our operation on the internet is compliant with all requirements for the operations in question and with the legislation of the European Union and acts of law of the Republic of Estonia. Collection and use of personal data
Personal data are the data which can be directly or indirectly associated with you as a private person and which are collected and processed by Respo Haagised AS to fulfil a contract entered into with an individual or for contacting the individual, as well as for fulfilling their legal obligations.
A regular customer’s personal data can be collected in the following manner:
• by submission of the customer’s contact details (incl. your name, personal identification code, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, preferred method of being contacted) on our website or elsewhere (e.g. in a store);
• from the customer’s account information or through cookies upon using the website;
• upon making a purchase or placing an order in our store or the online store by saving the person’s contact details or information on the customer’s purchasing preferences (Respo Haagised AS may ask you to submit your personal data and personal information on our website voluntarily. The required personal data may include your name, address, postal code, e-mail address, telephone number, and other details);
• upon applying for payment on deferred terms.
Collection of other data
We also collect impersonal data – the data which cannot be directly associated with one specific person (gender, age, preferred language, location).
We may also collect data about the customer’s activity on our website. These details will be accumulated and used to enable us to send more useful information to the customer and to inform us which parts of the website, products, and services are most interesting for the customers. The accumulated data are used as impersonal data for the purposes of this privacy policy.
The use and retention of the personal data collected
The personal data collected enable us to notify the customers of the product news, campaigns, and future events of Respo Haagised AS. Customers who do not wish to receive our newsletters or notifications of the products which may interest them may unsubscribe from the list of addressees at any time.
The personal data collected are also used to deliver the goods and to fulfill our obligations to the customer.
By consenting to the terms and conditions of the privacy policy, the customer grants their permission to Respo Haagised AS for automated processing of their personal data. You may withdraw your consent at any time through our website or by submitting an application in a format which can be reproduced in writing. The application or withdrawal of your consent will not be applicable retrospectively.
In order to provide better services to the customer, Respo Haagised AS may disclose information about individual users to third parties who provide services to Respo Haagised AS and are under a contractual obligation to maintain the confidentiality of the information shared. Such third parties include, for example, our partner who is in charge for organising the delivery of the goods sold in our online store or for the provision of the service of payment on deferred terms.
The customer’s personal data are retained by Respo Haagised AS until termination of the regular customer’s contract. The data which Respo Haagised AS is required to retain pursuant to the legislation (e.g. accounting data) are retained by Respo Haagised AS based on the requirements established in the legislation.
